Training Kurvi

Baby steps
Ever since he was little, Kurvi never stayed put. A scrappy orphan from the streets of Girvais, he would board a ship or a carriage to take him far away. Living on the road was hard for a young pup, but Kurvi never complained, and never let the hardships slow him down.

Kurvi’s first journey to Thedale shaped his future. He met a young Vayron by the name of Echo, a strong, silent girl who would become his first (albeit in the beginning reluctant) friend. Echo not only introduced him to Thedale, a continent Kurvi would come to love even more so than his homeland, but also to the sun-worshipping guild of Parhelion, which would become the family Kurvi could return to wherever he may be.

It was also with Echo, in Thedale, where Kurvi tried his first mushrooms. The rest is history.

Coordination
During his travels, Thedale would be where Kurvi was most drawn to. Spending most of his adolescence in the vast deserts of Thedale, Kurvi charmed humans with his friendly and energetic disposition. He journeyed many trips between the cities, ferrying people and supplies across to make a living and, sometimes, just for fun.

The first time Kurvi carried a human child on his back was an unforgettable experience. A couple of kids from a poor, remote village, would begin to count on him to show up every once in a while to take them for a ride between the dunes. The two children eventually grew too big for him to carry them both, but they did have some good times nevertheless.

Steadfast
While Thedale might’ve been Kurvi’s home for many years of his adolescence, Warrenfall would always remain his homeland. After the poverty and grittiness of Thedale and the ruthless nature of Roenden, the fresh, cool air of Kurvi’s birthplace would always be a welcome change of environment. Kurvi returned home after growing up on the road, and while it was undoubtedly good to be back, he would feel restless and itchy in his own skin. The guildmates he met in Warrenfall eased his wanderlust, but it never quite went away. 

And it's not as if nothing exciting ever happens in Warrenfall – a rather poor hunter, Kurvi definitely has gotten a few good scares from the scrappier deer. Luckily in Warrenfall help would never be far away. Raspy, a chance encounter, was one of the Vayrons Kurvi met in Warrenfall that would leave an impression on him – but only after he promised to let her have the kill!
